The mission of Give & Grow‘s Educate pillar is to provide local schools with dedicated volunteers who will provide academic and extracurricular support in an effort to break the cycle in areas of high need.
Give & Grow Educate provides a variety of educational support for children throughout our local communities. We work with in-need schools by supporting activities such as after school reading programs, math skills improvement programs and generalized one-on-one tutoring. We work hand-in-hand with faculty, students and parents to maximize a positive impact.
We also support project-based learning experiences that make learning fun and exciting. These projects teach students how to design, build, test and rework a variety of different concepts. During the process, students learn computer skills, presentation preparation, public speaking, math, science, design and artistic expression. Our goal is to provide exceptional volunteer support while encouraging as much parental involvement as possible. Building the three pillars of faculty, parental and one-on-one support makes a substantial difference in the lives and future of these youth.
